WEtalks Platform: Modern spaces equipped for all occasions
UX/UI case study: a booking website and admin dashboard for a Venezuelan event-space startup, cutting event coordination time by 40% and raising bookings by 35%.

The problem
WEtalks is a Venezuelan startup that rents and manages modern event spaces. Its legacy process was manual: reservations, scheduling and logistics were handled by hand, which cost more than 20 minutes for each reservation.
The business needed two parallel experiences. Customers needed a site to discover spaces and book them easily. The team needed an admin dashboard to manage events, budgets and participants. Both had to keep a premium brand feel.
My role
As UX/UI Designer, I led the research, mapped the user journeys for both customers and admins, designed both interfaces, and ran usability tests with WEtalks staff to refine the product.
Tools: Figma for design and prototyping, Illustrator for visuals, and Maze for usability testing.
The approach
Research and strategy
I interviewed users to understand their pain points in reservations and event management. From those conversations I mapped two journeys: the customer booking flow and the admin’s day-to-day management work.
Designing both experiences
Iteration of the Information Architecture
For customers, I designed a website with an intuitive booking flow and real-time availability, so people could find a space and book it without back-and-forth. For admins, I designed a dashboard to manage reservations, budgets and event logistics in one place.
Validating with the team
Some user flows for the internal platform
I conducted usability tests with WEtalks staff and refined the interface based on what they found, so the product fit the way the team actually works.
The outcome
